Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of MonkeyChat. By using the service, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to agree to these terms to use MonkeyChat. You are responsible for your account activity and for keeping your account information accurate.

You may not share access in a way that compromises account or service security. We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access when an account, device, or session violates these terms or creates a safety risk.

You must comply with applicable law and treat other users respectfully. You may not harass, threaten, exploit, impersonate, spam, distribute illegal or infringing content, expose another person's private information, or interfere with the service.

You may not attempt to bypass safety controls, access another user's account, disrupt the platform, use automated means to misuse the service, or use the service for commercial solicitation without permission.

Random video chat can involve unpredictable interactions. Use Next, Stop, and Report whenever a conversation is unwanted, unsafe, or may violate these terms.

Video rooms may use reports, screenshot review, face checks, content-risk checks, and other moderation signals to support safety and enforce these terms. No moderation system can eliminate every risk.

MonkeyChat may offer paid memberships or other paid features. Prices, billing periods, renewal status, and available benefits are shown before checkout.

Subscription renewal, cancellation, and payment confirmation are handled through the membership flow and the relevant payment provider. You are responsible for reviewing the purchase details before confirming payment.

It is illegal to use another person's debit cards, credit cards, or any bank account information to purchase services. If you simply take another person's credit card and use it, you are committing credit card fraud. Even if a friend or family member gives you his or her card to use, you should not use it if your name is not on the card. A credit card is issued to the person who is authorized to make purchases.Therefore, please do not use a card that does not have your name on it.

MonkeyChat strictly prohibits users from purchasing or charging in-app virtual currencies through unauthorized third parties. All purchases shall be made through MonkeyChat or MonkeyChat's authorized third parties.

If you purchase or charge MonkeyChat's services and virtual currencies through unauthorized parties, your account will be permanently suspended without a refund from MonkeyChat. However, if users believe that their accounts are suspended by mistake, please contact support@monkeychat.funto appeal the mistaken suspension.

Refund: All sales are final, and MonkeyChat does not offer refunds, subject to rare exceptions, as MonkeyChat only provides digital online services and MonkeyChat's services would immediately start once you've completed your purchase.

Unless otherwise provided in these Terms or mandatorily required by applicable law, any subscriptions and paid services are non-refundable in any event after purchase:

Services owned by any user who has been suspended or terminated from using MonkeyChat for violations of these Terms or violations;

Services that have been partially or fully used or consumed;

Services owned by expiring or renewed MonkeyChat Plus users;

Services purchased by third parties due to stolen or lost equipment or your negligence.

However, as we mentioned in the previous provision 5, you may terminate future subscriptions at any time to prevent future renewals. This will not entitle you to a refund for the current subscription period but will ensure you are not charged for subsequent periods.

In addition, refunds for any and all products permitted by applicable law in your jurisdiction will be processed in accordance with the refund policies of third parties that provide payment processing services and may be restricted from being used to purchase products.

For subscribers residing in the EU, EEA, UK, and Switzerland: You have a statutory right to withdraw from a contract for the purchase of digital services within 14 days from the date the contract is concluded (the "Withdrawal Period"). However, this right of withdrawal is subject to a statutory exception under the Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU. When you purchase a subscription from us, you explicitly agree to the following:

Request for Immediate Performance and Waiver of Withdrawal Right: You hereby expressly request that the performance of the service begins immediately after your purchase, within the 14-day Withdrawal Period. You simultaneously expressly acknowledge that by requesting and receiving immediate access to the service, you lose your statutory right to withdraw from the contract.

Automatic Renewals: The 14-day right of withdrawal applies only to the initial term of your subscription. In line with rulings from the Court of Justice of the European Union, this right does not restart or apply to any subsequent automatic renewal periods of your subscription. You may cancel future renewals at any time by following the procedure in your account settings.

We may update, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service to maintain security, reliability, legal compliance, or product operation. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that every match will meet your expectations.

You are responsible for your conduct, the information you choose to share, and your interactions with other users. Avoid sharing sensitive personal or financial information during a chat.

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided on an as-is and as-available basis without warranties that cannot lawfully be excluded.

We may update these terms as the service or applicable requirements change. The latest version will be published on this page. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
